I had a plan when I wrote that last journal. I'd have my website code finished and be ready to say, "and here comes my next project". Nearly three months later and behind in everything I'm supposed to be doing, here I am with nothing to show.

And just so I don't get a second comment on it, the kiriban was already "won", though I doubt it was ever wanted in the first place. Not like anyone here needs that sort of thing anyway. I'd like to fulfill the promise at some point if the winner is still interested by then, but I don't think it'll happen for a while longer...

The truth of the matter is, I don't have it in me to draw. I have ideas, and in some ways, the time. But from the way things are going, that blue moon under which I do get creative isn't going to rise again... at least not for a while. I'm just not feeling the "mojo" I need.

I don't know if I'll pick it up again one day; I was already having my doubts before I started losing it. One thing after another went south, and then basically all reason for bothering was lost.

I can't really explain it very well, since I don't want to get into the specifics for just about any reason one could come up with. Whatever the case, this is probably it for a while.

Stealth Edit: I've decided that I'm not going to put any more of my stuff here on DA. Now that I'm drawing again I don't feel DA is a suitable forum for what I wanted to do all along. I'll still be using this account to browse and probably post comments.
